Frisco ISD · Annual report · 2025
A district-wide year of achievement, made readable at a glance.

The opportunity
The source material was both a gift and a problem: hundreds of accomplishments across programs, people and campuses, all competing for space. The report needed to feel celebratory without becoming chaotic, and factual without reading like an archive.
The editorial approach
Achievements were grouped into clear editorial chapters before color or imagery entered the system.
A distinct palette gives each category an identity while keeping every spread recognizably part of the same report.
Large headings and human photography create entry points; compact lists reward readers who want the full record.
The navigation system
Each subject gets its own visual temperature. The grid, typography and photographic treatment hold those voices together.
District and student recognition
CTE and competitive success
Music, theatre, dance and visual arts
Championships and student-athletes
People, service and recognition
Initiatives and community impact
The report in practice
The format stays consistent while scale, color and image density change to fit the story on each spread.

The content
Selected figures from the finished report show the range of stories the system had to hold.
The outcome
The final report works as both documentation and celebration. Every category has room to feel distinct, while the shared editorial system makes the district's year read as one connected culture of excellence.
